Sunny Days Are Here Again!!

And how am I enjoying the sunshine? I'm not. I am inside my house cleaning, which I should have been doing all week long when it was raining and gross. But, it must be done. Elisabeth is staying here tonight and I would be horridly embarrassed if she had to stay in a dirty house! Tomorrow, I'll be meeting up with the youth group from Calvary Chapel to drive up to Derry, New Hampshire for Teens Involved. It's rather odd, I haven't been to a Teens Involved since I was competing 10 years ago. And that statement right there makes me feel incredibly old! It should not be possible that I can use statements including the words "10 years ago".

There is a New Love in my Life!!!!

And that love is called "SPRING VACATION".... So it's not the first one that I've had, and it's not even the first in a long time (I had one last year). But, this year, I am looking forward to actually taking the time off, circling the wagons and laying low. For those of you checking in frequently, and waiting with baited breath for me to say something witty..... I got nothing. As of 2:15pm on Friday, my brain has officially shut down. In the past 2 and a half days, I have read 2 books and watched 7 movies and taken a trip to the Boston area for a dinner/benefit thing. Yup, couch potato syndrome has kicked in... and it appears that the weather is supposed to be rainy for a few more days, so I'm guessing that my couch will be quite broken in by the time the sun comes out again. Maybe later this week I'll get a chance to go for a hike or even a walk... But the best news is.... for the next 7 days I don't have to deal with school, parents or students! WOO HOO!!!
